Detailed 4-Day Safari Itinerary

Day 1 – Dar es Salaam to Mikumi: Depart early from Dar es Salaam for a scenic 5–6 hour drive to Mikumi National Park. Enjoy a hot lunch at your lodge before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Keep an eye out for elephants, wildebeests, and zebras against the scenic Mkata floodplain.

Day 2 – Full Day Game Drive: After breakfast, spend a full day exploring Mikumi’s wildlife-rich areas. Visit the Hippo Pools, the Vuma Hills, and open savannahs where lions, giraffes, and buffalo roam freely.
